Is this service right for me?  Services are open to all adult individuals. The wellness boutique is an inclusive space that embraces diversity. Here is a list of some contraindications to services being offered. Please note that this is not a full list, and if you are unsure if a service is right for you, ask your physician or health care practitioner. If you are pregnant, pregnancy safe adjustments are available for all services. If you have further questions, please contact us before booking an appointment and we will be happy to help. How do I get there? Where do I park? Located just off of Highway 99 in the Croydon Corporate Centre area, our space is easily accessible via car, bike or transit. Please note that accessing the building is different for weekday and weekend appointments. Weekday appointments: Enter the main front entrance to the Regus building, use the elevator on the right side (not stairs accessible) press 3. Reception desk is on the right side to check-in. If reception is unavailable, please have a seat in the lobby/waiting area located on the left side. Washrooms are to the left of the reception desk. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time. Weekend appointments: The main doors will be locked. Please wait outside the Regus building front entrance and your practitioner will open the doors and greet you at the main floor five minutes prior to your appointment time. Parking: All parking is free. The main parking lot is located in front of the Regus building. What time should I arrive for my appointment? If your appointment is on a weekday, please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time. If reception is available, please check in at the desk first. You may wait in the lobby area which provides comfortable seating. If your appointment is on a weekend, please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment time if possible. Please wait outside the main entrance and your practitioner will open the doors to greet you. The main doors will be locked. Washrooms are to the left of the reception desk.

How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment? Cancelling or rescheduling your appointment is made easy. Simply open your appointment confirmation email or SMS and select "Reschedule or Cancel," you will be redirected to a page where you can reschedule or cancel your appointment.

Are gratuities/tips accepted? Gratuities/tipping is customary, but is completely optional at the end of your service. Both cash and credit/debit cards are accepted. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Will my insurance benefits cover the massage? It depends on your insurance. Some insurance plans include wellness services, but it’s not guaranteed. Best to check with your insurance provider. You are responsible for covering the full cost of your treatment. We do not direct bill insurance providers.

What is the difference between Bodywork Therapy and Registered Massage Therapy? Bodywork Therapy is professional massage provided by a certified Bodywork Therapist who can use a wide range of massage trainings and modalities for healing and wellness. Registered Massage Therapy is provided by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who is a healthcare professional who uses massage techniques to treat and prevent physical pain and dysfunction.

What products are used on the skin and hair? At Well With Shonel, most of the products we use are exclusively artisan made using natural, high quality, and ethically sourced ingredients. We stand behind clean beauty, meaning we use products that are free of parabens, sulphates, phthalates, mineral oils, alcohols, and synthetic fragrances to name a few. All of our Well With Shonel Beauty Oils are formulated with safety and skin care in mind. We use oils that are ranked low on the Comedogenic Scale, so chances are lower of clogging pores. If you have sensitivities or allergies to any ingredients, let your practitioner know and adjustments can be made accordingly. We use oils, toners and facial mists in our services (products may vary by service). The facial toners with cleansing properties are made of witch hazel and aloe vera. The facial mists are made of floral waters containing all natural fragrance. Our Hair Oil Ingredients: Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Sesamum indicum (Sesame) Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Emblica officinalis (Amla) Oil, Azadirachta indica (Neem) Oil, Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Salvia sclarea (Clary Sage) Oil, Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) Oil, Santalum album (Sandalwood) Oil, Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Mentha piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea Tree) Oil. Infused with herbs of Rosemary and Tulsi (Holy Basil). Our hair oil is safe for use on colour treated hair.

Are services suitable for pregnant individuals? All services are suitable for pregnant individuals, but always check with your physician and/or health care professionals before booking. Each service can be customized with pregnancy safe oils and aromatherapy or with no aromas at all — just let your practitioner know on the intake form. Additional pillow supports are available to adjust for comfort.

Can I bring someone with me? Yes on weekdays, they can wait in the lobby which provides comfortable seating. The lobby is not available for weekend appointments. Only the person booked at their service time is allowed into the treatment space.

Do I need to bring anything? It's recommended to bring your own reusable water bottle. If you are receiving Ayurvedic Indian Head Massage, please bring a hair tie or claw if you have long hair. You may also want to bring a hat or head scarf to wear afterwards that you don't mind getting oil on.

What do I wear to my appointment? It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing to your appointment. For bodywork treatments, you will be undressing from the waist up.

What if I'm sensitive to scents? Please be aware that natural essential oil aromatics play a role in the services provided and it enhances the service experience. If you are sensitive to scents, please inform your practitioner before your appointment by contacting us. We can make adjustments accordingly. The space may still be naturally scented from previous sessions so there is no guarantee of a scent free session, but we will do our best to accommodate any requests.

Do you sell gift cards? Yes we sell e-gift cards! Our e-gift cards can easily be purchased online for yourself or for someone else, and sent via email. This gift card is redeemable for products and services at Well With Shonel. The card can be used to pay for purchases up to the remaining balance. The holder is responsible for its safekeeping. There are no fees associated with the purchase or use of this gift card. By using this gift card, you agree to the terms and conditions stated herein.
